Women’s Health and Life Transitions
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I work with women navigating life transitions - from becoming a mother to changes in relationships, career, or identity. These seasons can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from ourselves, wondering who we are and what we need next.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I believe therapy is a space to slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself and what matters most. I draw from CBT, ACT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness, balancing practical tools with deeper self-understanding.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from UBC and have a background in leadership and education across private and non-profit settings. As a mom of two, I also understand the many layers of balancing who we are with the roles we hold. My 500-hour yoga certification further informs my work with mindfulness and the mind-body connection.
Kelli Wheatley
Hi! I’m Kelli. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor specializing in supporting people whose mental health is affected by the way their body feels or functions. I have personal experience with chronic pain and illness, and have now made helping people navigate challenges in their health and physical ability my life’s work. I use both cognitive and somatic (body-based) therapeutic approaches to support clients in bringing awareness to their thoughts, feelings, and bodily cues. Once we have awareness, we can introduce tools and strategies to support the expansion of the nervous system’s capacity. I am a firm believer that everyone can access joy and healing because I’ve lived it myself, and I bring that hope and conviction to every session. I am a proud UBC alum and an even prouder born-and-raised North Vancouverite; in my free time, you’ll find me in the forest, by the water, or with ice cream in hand.
